Better Moments can provide safe and efficient transport to where you need to go. We can arrange transport, basecamps, polar bear guards and catering for ski expeditions, photography/film teams, research projects and other expeditions. We also have expert wildlife guides that will make your arctic experience as smooth as possible.
We offer transport with closed RIB boats all around the Isfjord and along the West Coast of Spitsbergen from May 1st until October 31st. Our boats travel at around 20-25 knots, so we can reach our destination quickly and comfortably.
We can transport up to 12 people per boat and will have plenty of room for equipment. To get you on shore, we use a dingy.
For multi-day projects, bigger boats with icebreaker qualities are available on request.
Winter transports
In the winter, we offer Snowmobile transport from January 1st until the snow disappears in the end of May.
Guests will be provided with a snowmobile suit, boots, helmet, goggles, gloves, balaclava and face mask for the transport.
For the equipment, we have several, sturdy wooden sleds. Please note that it can get bumpy, so all equipment should be packed shock proof.
